Sunday School
Our Sunday School starts with a time of singing in a group with all of the children in the main auditorium for around 15 minutes. We then break out into classes for a 35 min lesson and activity time. In the summer, classes are combined in an open format.
The classes are generally split into the following five groups:
-
Pre-school to Kindergarten
-
Grades 1-4
-
Grades 5-8
-
Teens & Young Adults
-
University students & Young adults
Each class is taught by a teacher who has a care and concern for each of their students. If a child does not have a Bible then we will provide one for free. In fact, our entire Sunday School program is free and we do not solicit any "collection" from any child.
We encourage children to memorize verses from the Bible each week because the most important “lesson” a child can learn is what God says in His word.
Concurrently with the kids program, there is a Bible message in the main auditorium for adults. Parents are welcome and encouraged to stay.
There are various special events throughout the year. We encourage the whole family to attend for fun and food!
We have a child protection policy in place. Our volunteers undergo screening (including vulnerable sector police record check). As of 2022, All volunteers go through mandatory certification with the Plan to Protect program.
