Are you trusting what you do or who Jesus is?

We often try to “be better,” fix our mistakes, and find our own way to God. But that path is exhausting and never brings peace. If your confidence is in what you do, you’ll always wonder if it’s enough.
The Bible is honest: we’ve all sinned and cannot save ourselves. But God acted first by sending His son, Jesus, to die for our sins. Jesus took the punishment we deserved so we could be forgiven and brought near to God. Real peace comes when you stop trusting your efforts and rest in His finished work.
“I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him” (2 Timothy 1:12).
When you entrust yourself to Jesus, He becomes your confidence—today and forever. Rest in Him, not in what you can do, but in what He’s already done for you.
