Sunday Mornings
Breaking of Bread (Worship)
“ ... the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” - 1 Corinthians 11:23-25
One of the most important activities carried out by followers of Christ is the regular remembrance He commanded us to observe. This communion service, often called the Lord’s Supper or Breaking of Bread, is simple yet profound: the shared partaking of bread and wine. The bread reminds us of the body of Christ given for us. The cup reminds us of the blood He shed and the new covenant He established.
What to Expect
The Breaking of Bread meeting begins with worship in prayer and song. While the church worships together as members, only men take audible roles in prayer, reading, or teaching, in keeping with the scriptural pattern we follow (1 Corinthians 14; 1 Timothy 2). Women participate through singing, silent worship, and reflection. Visitors are welcome to observe the service but do not take part. In this way, the focus remains entirely on remembering the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ and celebrating the salvation He purchased for us.
We then share the emblems — the bread and the cup — which symbolize the body and blood of Christ. Following this, a voluntary collection is taken by church members. Visitors and guests are not expected to contribute.
At the close of the meeting, one of the men in fellowship will usually read from the Bible and share thoughts from God’s Word.
Special seating areas are reserved for guests and visitors who wish to observe. If you are visiting our church, you are warmly invited to watch the meeting unfold. There is no expectation for you to participate, and we would be glad to meet you afterward to answer any questions.

Gospel Meeting
“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: ”- 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
The word gospel simply means "good news". Before he ascended into heaven, Christ commanded his followers to "go into all the world and preach the gospel". We seek to share the abundant life with which we have been blessed. This meeting is done in a lecture format with the audience facing the front of the building. Two speakers will present the gospel using a variety of scriptures. We will usually sing a few hymns at the beginning and end of the meeting. You will not be called upon to participate in anyway (there is no altar call). You will simply hear the good news from God's word.
Tuesday Evenings
Prayer & Bible Study
“Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” - Acts 2: 41-42
We believe it is important for every Christian to cultivate a personal relationship with God through regular Bible reading and prayer. It is also vital to come together as a church family each week.
In the first part of this meeting, various men lead the congregation in prayer, bringing thanksgiving and requests before God. Afterwards, we share in a conversational Bible study focused on a specific passage or topic. This is a good opportunity to listen, ask questions, and learn what the Bible teaches — as well as how to apply it in everyday life.
Once a month, instead of the Bible study, we host a Missionary Report. During this time, a missionary shares updates from their work (often joining us via Zoom livestream), giving us a chance to hear what God is doing in other places and to pray for the spread of the gospel around the world.
