But a Certain Samaritan

In Luke 10, the Lord Jesus tells one of His most famous stories—a man robbed, beaten, and left half-dead on the Jericho road. The priest and the Levite passed by. But then we read these four words: “But a certain Samaritan.”
That moment changed everything. He had compassion, stopped, and cared for the dying man. Without him, there would only have been another statistic—another life lost.
This Samaritan is a picture of Christ. He came to where we were—helpless, wounded by sin, left to die—and He lifted us up.
“But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him.” — Luke 10:33
Have you met Him on the road of life? He came for you.
