Luke 2 records one of the few glimpses we are given of the Lord Jesus’ childhood. At just twelve years old, He remained in the temple while His parents journeyed home, not realizing He was missing. For a whole day, they traveled without Christ.
“They supposed Him to have been in the company” (Luke 2:44).
How many people today make the same mistake? They assume everything is fine spiritually, never asking if Christ is truly with them. Each step without Him takes them farther away. Like Joseph and Mary, many enjoy religion, family, and social gatherings—yet miss the very Saviour who is the heart of it all.
The good news is that those who stop, turn around, and search for Christ with all their heart will find Him. He has not moved. He is found at Calvary, where He finished His Father’s work and cried, “It is finished.”
Friend, are you traveling with Christ—or without Him? Watch the full message below and consider this life-changing question.
