What to Expect
A Sunday morning for the whole family
Sunday School begins with group singing in the main auditorium, where all children gather together for approximately 15 minutes. Children are then dismissed to age-appropriate classes for a 45-minute lesson and activity time.
While children attend Sunday School, a Bible message for adults runs concurrently in the main auditorium. Parents are welcome — and encouraged — to stay and attend.
Summer Schedule
During the summer months, children from pre-school through Grade 8 meet together in a single combined group. Teen and young adult classes continue as usual.

Teaching & Philosophy
What we believe about teaching children
Each class is taught by teachers who have a genuine care and concern for the children in their group. Lessons are grounded in Scripture and presented in an age-appropriate and engaging way.
Our Sunday School program is completely free. We do not collect money from any child at any time.
Scripture-centred lessons
All teaching is rooted in the Bible, presented at the right level for each age group.
Memory verse work
Children are encouraged to memorize Scripture each week — we believe it’s the most important lesson a child can carry with them.
Bibles provided freely
If a child doesn’t have a Bible, we’re happy to provide one free of charge — no questions asked.
Completely free
No fees, no collections, no cost to families — ever.

Parents & special events
For Parents & Adults
You’re welcome to stay
While children attend Sunday School, a Bible message for adults runs concurrently in the main auditorium. Parents are welcome — and encouraged — to attend.
If you’d prefer to wait with your child until they’re settled, that’s perfectly fine too. Someone will be happy to show you where everything is.
Throughout the Year
Special events & Upwards! Camp
Throughout the year we host special events open to the whole family — seasonal activities, fellowship gatherings, and shared meals. Families are encouraged to attend and participate.
Each summer we also run a free day camp for children called Upwards! Camp, providing structured activities, games, and Bible teaching in a safe and welcoming environment.
Safety & Child Protection
Your child’s safety is our priority
We take the safety and well-being of children very seriously. A child protection policy is in place, and all volunteers undergo a thorough screening process before working with children.
If you have any questions about our safety practices or would like to observe how Sunday School operates, you are very welcome to visit — we’d be glad to meet you and answer any questions.
Child protection measures
A formal child protection policy is in place and followed by all leaders.
All volunteers working with children undergo a vulnerable sector criminal record check.
All volunteers complete mandatory certification through the Plan to Protect program (as of 2022).
Parents and guardians are welcome to observe at any time — just come along on a Sunday.
Visiting for the First Time?
Registration is optional — just come along
There’s no requirement to register before attending Sunday School. Families are welcome to simply come on any Sunday morning and introduce themselves.
That said, if you’d like to let us know you’re coming, we’d love to hear from you — it helps us be prepared to welcome your family well.
Register your child (optional)
Registration is recommended for first-time visitors so we can be prepared to welcome your family. It only takes a couple of minutes.
Prefer to just drop in? That’s great — we’ll be glad to see you. If you have questions beforehand, feel free to contact us or come and observe on any Sunday morning.
