Special Gospel Series
2025 Fall Gospel Series
A collection of gospel messages preached at Ottawa Gospel Hall during a special two-week series in September 2025. Jon Procopio and Tim Burton opened the Bible to explain the good news of Jesus Christ — why we need salvation, what Christ has done for sinners, and how eternal life can be received.
About the series
The same gospel, approached from many different passages.
The 2025 Fall Gospel Series was held at Ottawa Gospel Hall from September 14–28, 2025.
Throughout the series, Jon Procopio and Tim Burton preached from different passages of the Bible, addressing some of the most important questions a person can consider: What does it mean to be lost? Why do we need to be saved? How can our sins be forgiven? Can we know that we are going to heaven? And what should we do with Jesus Christ?
Some messages considered familiar stories told by Jesus. Others focused on individuals who encountered Christ, the value God places upon a human soul, or the promises Jesus gives to those who come to Him.
Different passages and illustrations were used, but the message at the centre of the series remained the same: our sin separates us from God, we cannot save ourselves, and God has provided a Saviour in His Son, Jesus Christ.
At the cross, Christ died for sinners. He rose again, and the Bible offers forgiveness and eternal life to everyone who trusts in Him.

Each message in this series approaches the gospel from a different passage, question, or biblical account. But they all lead back to the same central truth: God has provided salvation through Jesus Christ.
What does the gospel mean for you?
Each message in this series approaches the gospel from a different passage, question, or biblical account. But they all lead back to the same central truth: God has provided salvation through Jesus Christ.
As you listen, the question is not simply whether the message is true in general, but what it means for you personally: What will you do with Jesus Christ?

Gospel Messages from the Series
Each message below can be heard on its own. Together, they explore the gospel from a range of passages and perspectives — from the promise of heaven and the danger of travelling through life without Christ to the compassion of the Saviour who receives sinners.
The Gospel Is Still Good News
The Bible says that all have sinned. It also says that Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners. Salvation is not earned through religion, good works, or personal improvement. It is God’s gift, made possible through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and received through faith in Him.
